The Ohio Concealed Carry Law was enacted April 8, 2004, enabling qualified citizens the privilege of carrying a concealed handgun. The sheriff is required by law to administer the background investigations and issuance of concealed carry licenses in Medina County.
There are now 17 states that the State of Ohio has reciprocity agreements with. They are as follows: Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
